Nico and Vanessa were searching Bermondsey for storage space for their vintage antiques business when they decided the neighbourhood needed a café. They opened in September 2016 as a café by day and a bar at night, with Grind supplying the espresso.
Newcomen Street near London Bridge became a second branch, and a third followed on Tanner Street.
