The first shop opened on Brick Lane in 1999 as an internet cafe. The organic fairtrade beans come from Papua New Guinea's highlands, all packaging is compostable, and the brand backs the Free West Papua campaign.
The Bermondsey shop won Best Café Design at the London Coffee Festival Awards 2025.
