Carlo, who grew up in Brazil and graduated from Warwick, founded Glass with engineer Lampros Sekliziotis and computer scientist Konstantinos Dalkafoukis. They roast their own beans and buy single estates from Hacienda Esmeralda in Panama, Sebastian Ramirez's Finca El Placer in Colombia, and the Hachi Project.
The shop is a blue shipping container unit on Boxpark's first floor, with a roller-shutter hatch opening onto the corridor. A wall-mounted screen loops farmer photographs and an origin map, and seating is on the shared terrace nearby.
