Yanyi Xu started Killbean as a weekend project in north London to introduce British customers to coffees from unconventional regions. The micro-roastery holds one of the UK largest selections of Chinese micro-lots from Yunnan province, alongside beans from Ethiopia and Panama. Killbean took second place in the Yunnan Coffee Competition.
