Paul Ross won the first of his two titles in 2019 with a natural Geisha from Panama's Auromar farm, while Wholesale Manager at Kiss the Hippo. Special Guests, founded in 2022, serves 12 single-origin filters and keeps a frozen archive of earlier lots.
The cafe is one room behind full-height glazing, with a timber bench on the pavement. Three single-dose grinders on the steel back counter each carry a handwritten card naming the farm, variety and process.
