It ran on Square Mile's Red Brick espresso alone until Modern Standard began roasting a house blend. A custom Kees van der Westen Spirit pulls the shots, with single origins on batch brew and pour-over. A second shop opened in Wandsworth in early 2020.
The St John's Hill shop is a charcoal-painted corner unit with a wood-framed hatch that opens onto the street and one small table on the pavement. Inside, the counter runs along the back wall, faced in hexagonal wood tiles.
