Frances and Sam founded Taith in 2021 as a roastery in Lewes, opening the cafe in 2024 in a former bookshop at 84 High Street. The business combines coffee roasting with a ceramic studio, bookshop, vinyl shop, and micro-bakery. Uses a Loring roaster, operating on a roast-to-order model three days per week.
