Dorian Needs opened it in 2014 after working at Artisan Coffee. After several years on Extract Coffee from Bristol, roasting moved in-house in 2021 with Nicolas Pastelopoulos, formerly head roaster at Saint Espresso.
Steel-framed windows look onto Devonshire Road, and a raised timber deck out front holds outdoor tables. Inside, the timber counter runs along one side of a narrow room under a wood-clad pitched ceiling.
