Joe Faulkner learned roasting in the evenings before opening the first coffee house beside Greenwich Market in 2021. A second opened in late 2022.
A 15kg Giesen roasts small batches of micro-lots, and farmers are paid well above Fairtrade rates. Colombian coffee comes from Asmucafe, an organisation of female farmers and landowners, and Guatemalan lots from Huehuetenango.
