Natalie and Chris met and fell in love with coffee in Auckland before moving to London. They opened the first shop in Hammersmith in October 2019, in a building that had been a cafe fifty years earlier and most recently a family funeral parlour. A second opened in Fulham in May 2022.
Square Mile supplies the house coffee, with a guest roaster each month, among them Plot, Prolog, and Mame. Estate Dairy provides the unhomogenised milk.
