Catherine Seay was Kaffeine's first manager on Great Titchfield Street from 2009 to 2011, then opened the café in March 2012, her first business. SEND Coffee, a nonprofit that trains and employs young adults with special educational needs and disabilities, runs it now.
The shop is a glazed corner unit under a timber-soffited arcade near Leadenhall Market, looking down the covered passage. A black-fronted counter runs along the back wall, and outdoor seating extends along the passage.
