Deptford roastery that began roasting for a European conference events company.

Founder Jack set up the roastery in 2019 as the in-house supplier to Social Espresso, then widened it to cafes, restaurants, businesses and online sales. The brew bar opened in February 2024 beside Deptford Market Yard, the first place where customers drink coffee where it is roasted. A kiosk at Hackney Central is the second site.

Daydreamer is the Brazil-based house espresso. The brew bar hand pours seven single-origin filters, and a mystery wheel picks one at random.

At this shop

The bar occupies a corrugated-steel unit on Titan Business Estate, its glass frontage facing the brick arches of the railway viaduct across the yard, where timber benches stand outside. Inside, an open steel staircase climbs to a mezzanine office behind a glazed partition, and the roaster runs in its own room.
