Anthony Dyer and Man Wong met at a recruitment firm in the City, and Dyer worked in a friend's cafe in Melbourne before they opened in 2015. The Hyde Park cafe began as a six-month pop-up in November 2024.
It sits in the Magazine building in Kensington Gardens, where a white tensile roof sweeps down beside the brick 19th-century powder store. Curved columns rise into oval skylights, and glass walls look onto clipped hedges and trees.
