Mark Buckle, a record collector and musician since his teens, trained as a barista before opening the shop with his wife Luisa Ferrari in 2018. Dark Arts Coffee supplies the espresso, and the racks span jazz, reggae, soul, and soundtracks.
The shop is a narrow Victorian shopfront on Sheen Lane with a bench outside. Vinyl racks run the length of both walls to a back counter holding the espresso machine and a DJ turntable, and a Bally pinball backglass hangs on the wall.
