Founded in 2011 to directly support Tate Gallery. The roastery operates from a WWII Nissen hut at Tate Britain, having started in a small space in Herne Hill. The Gender Equality Project ensures at least half of all beans come from women producers.
Multi-year relationships with Latin American producers anchor the sourcing. A non-profit, community-led business, it funds Tate Gallery while championing coffee producers throughout the value chain.
