The name comes from the 13th Floor Elevators, a Texan psychedelic band, and the tagline reads "See You Later Elevator". Two converted horseboxes serve the coffee, one at St Mary's Church on Stoke Newington Church Street and one at Christ Church in Highbury.
Coffee by Tate supplies the beans from a Nissen Hut roastery at Tate Britain. Its Gender Equality Project sources each kilo equally from female and male producers.
