Eddie Twitchett enrolled in a roasting course after university and founded Round Hill in 2012. He started in an industrial building no bigger than a garage, selling at Bath Farmer's Market every week. The name comes from Kelston Round Hill, a local landmark separating Bath and Bristol.
Now based at Midsomer Enterprise Park in Radstock, the roastery runs a direct-flame Probat. Oli Bradshaw joined from Square Mile. They revisit the same farms and cooperatives each harvest.
