On Britton Street in Clerkenwell, the café occupies the Goldsmiths' Centre's converted Victorian Board School playground, opened in 2015 as Gather & Gather's first high street café. Every purchase funds jewellers and silversmiths training at the charity, and baristas train through the Well Grounded social enterprise. Coffee comes from Union Hand-Roasted Coffee.
Rows of weathered copper panels hang from wires across the ceiling, catching light from tall arched windows that open onto a paved courtyard. A counter runs along the back wall, with a leather armchair set near the arches and tables out on the forecourt beyond.
