Four London cafés serving an exclusive house blend roasted by Climpson & Sons.

The first shop opened on Whitecross Street in 2009, with Curtain Road following in 2011, Farringdon Road in 2021 and Kingsland Road in 2024.

The blend was tuned to carry milk drinks as well as espresso, and is sold online as FWD:Espresso beside a decaf. Baristas train at a dedicated coffee lab, in sensory and technical skills.

At this shop

On the corner of Farringdon Road, arched windows sit in a dark green shopfront. Inside, terracotta tile wraps an L-shaped counter, and a rust-red column runs through the room, then continues down the stairs as a matching rail to more seating on the lower floor.
