Natasha Bacon and Shaunae England opened in 2015 at Stamford Works, a courtyard of studios off Gillett Square. Square Mile roasts the espresso, made on a La Marzocco Linea, with guest filter from Curve Roasters and bread from The Dusty Knuckle. The rooftop Sky Farm supplied ingredients for 7,000 plates in 2023.
The cafe is on the ground floor of a curved brick building, and the courtyard in front of it is the main seating area, with long communal tables under cream market umbrellas. Inside, the counter is clad in straw bale.
