Italian Gennaro De Mattia left Notes to set up a two-group La Marzocco in a gazebo at the rear of St George's Churchyard around 2012. He dedicated the 2016 Best Outdoor Seating award to late business partner Vittorio Caberlotto.
The cream-painted service cart stands under a canvas gazebo, backed by a small raised pond and rock water feature built into the churchyard wall. Banana palms and ferns line the flagstone courtyard, with umbrellas up over the tables for rain.
