The Moot Community, which moved into the church in 2010, opened the cafe in 2012. Mission Coffee Works of Clapton supplies the coffee, served as single origins by Aeropress and V60, and a suspended coffee scheme lets customers pay for a cup for someone experiencing homelessness.
The cafe fills the nave, with a fan-vaulted plaster ceiling running its full length. Dark wooden pews line either side of a central aisle toward the altar screen and organ.
