Lynsey Coughlan, formerly of the Ginger Pig butcher, and ex-art director Lindsay Lewis opened on Fish Island's canal towpath. "Inis" means island in Irish. Head chef Craig Johnson runs a seasonal British and Irish menu with Full Irish breakfasts, whiskey smoked salmon, Guinness cake, and a cold brew Irish coffee cocktail.
The terrace and dining-room windows look straight onto the Hertford Union Canal, with the graffiti-covered warehouses of Fish Island beyond. Inside, a linen curtain separates the bar from the dining room.
