Founder Jack set up the roastery in 2019 as the in-house supplier to Social Espresso, then widened it to cafes, restaurants, businesses and online sales. The brew bar opened in February 2024 beside Deptford Market Yard, the first place where customers drink coffee where it is roasted. A kiosk at Hackney Central is the second site.
Daydreamer is the Brazil-based house espresso. The brew bar hand pours seven single-origin filters, and a mystery wheel picks one at random.
