Argentinian-Australian family cafe, named for grandfather Alberto de la Vega.

Lynette de la Vega founded it with her daughter Cloe, after opening the Zigolini's restaurants in Sydney and Melbourne with her husband Alejandro in the late 1980s.

The two London cafes, in Covent Garden and Marylebone, buy coffee directly from South and Central American farmers and prepare it with Australian technique.

At this shop

On Southampton Street in Covent Garden, a round wood counter stands over herringbone flooring just inside the entrance. An archway hung with a large landscape painting leads into a single dining room, where one long table runs beneath a tall sash window onto the street.
