Five cafes and an SCA coffee school, conceived in Uganda's Rwensori Mountains.

Edwin and Magda Harrison spent a year in Uganda helping local communities set up trade and learn skills, then opened the first shop in Putney in November 2011. Magda brings Australian coffee expertise.

The Gunnersbury school won Best Business for Training and Development at the Wandsworth Business Awards, and the team took London's Latte Art Champions title at the Kaffeine Smackdown.

At this shop

A turreted red-brick building rises above the corner shopfront on King Street, with burlap coffee sacks strung across the windows. Inside, framed photographs of brewing methods are set into an exposed brick wall under the words Coffee School, below a teal beamed ceiling, and a copper-clad counter runs along the back.
