Ross Brown owns the café with his dog Ludd. A kitchen downstairs sends up the food, and an in-house bakery makes sourdough, bagels and pastries.
The navy shopfront faces a paved square, and its glass front folds fully open onto it. A narrow bar runs just inside, and most of the seating is out on the forecourt.
