Ladbroke Grove sourdough bakery using Wildfarmed flour and Assembly coffee.

Tessa Faulkner opened it in March 2021, after noticing West London had nothing like the artisan bakeries she cycled to in the east. Three sourdoughs, white, wild rye and 7-seeded, are baked in the Ladbroke Grove kitchen, which also supplies a second Layla in Acton, opened in 2025.

A white-balustraded mezzanine sits over the open kitchen, looking down on a triple-deck oven and the oak counter. The corner shop has wooden benches and tables on the pavement outside.

Layla sits on Churchfield Road in Acton, with a white-painted brick front, green window frames and two timber benches on the pavement. Pink gingham half-curtains hang across the glass. Inside, a plywood counter runs along one wall.
