Bloomsbury family bakery that began as a red coffee cart in 2015.

Husband and wife Mounir and Elena split the work: he handles the coffee, she develops every bun recipe. The buns are Swedish-style, cinnamon and cardamom, plus a 2kg cinnamon bun made to order.

Climpson & Sons supplies the beans, and shops on Marchmont Street and Shaftesbury Avenue followed the Byng Place cart.

At this shop

On Marchmont Street in Bloomsbury, an arched Victorian shopfront with green glazed tile pillars opens onto a checkerboard threshold, with stools out on the pavement. Inside, a wall of lit niches faces a fluted-panelled counter under a brass ring chandelier.
