Japanese patisserie importing flour from Japan, four London locations.

The founders were struck by the colourful cakes in the window of a small patisserie in Japan, and set out to combine French technique with Japanese cake-making. The name WA stands for peace and harmony, and the cakes use less sugar to keep their natural flavours.

Nude Espresso supplies the coffee, and matcha from Uji is served in Japanese ceramics.

At this shop

The shop sits on a corner of Haven Green in Ealing, glazed on two sides onto the junction outside. Inside, a long glass pastry counter runs across the back wall under brass cone pendants, with a banquette along one side.
