Ritesh Doshi, a former investment banker and regular customer, bought the company in 2018. It pays farmers 25-30% more than competitors through forward contracts, and runs eight cafes in Nairobi plus this London shop, its first outside Kenya.
A light plywood counter runs against exposed brick on the ground floor, and a doorway leads down to a windowless brick basement hung with street-art prints. Tables stand outside on the pavement.
